TaylorMade Sweetz is proudly owned and operated by self-taught cake artist Alexis Taylor — a passionate creative, entrepreneur, and devoted single mother.
Her journey began in April 2012, when she made a half-birthday cake for her son. That small but meaningful moment sparked a deep love for baking and cake design. In just two months, what started as a personal passion quickly blossomed into a business. By June 2012, TaylorMade Sweetz became official — with a name, an LLC, and a mission rooted in love, creativity, and community.
Since then, Alexis has made thousands of cakes, taught cake decorating classes, and launched a heartfelt initiative called “No Child Without a Cake” — a program dedicated to ensuring every child, regardless of circumstance, gets to feel celebrated on their special day.
